MY STORY
MEET CALLIE
Hey ya'll! My name is Callie Johnson. I am a graduate of the University of North Florida with a Master of Science degree in Communication Management with a focus in Nonprofit management, certified wedding and event planner, and self-taught baker. I created Callie's Collection to showcase all of the activities that I enjoy: event planning, baking desserts, listening and performing music, and all things communication.
I spend my time working with my dream job at the First Coast Cultural Center, a nonprofit in Jacksonville Beach, FL, as the Community Connections Manager. I am also the Director of Communications for an a-maise-ing 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, Team A.Maise, Inc.
Growing up in an arts oriented family, I have always enjoyed writing, singing, playing instruments, and occasionally drawing. All of those are still my passions and I have a new found passion of baking cookies, cakes, macarons and anything sweet. My life dream has always been to work in the music industry and to start my own record label someday. I, also, hope to write a few novels over the course of my life. I am hoping that one day, I can combine my two passions and start a nonprofit organization benefiting children in Northeast Florida by providing music education. However, I am just excited to see where God takes me in this wonderful journey that life has to offer.
